Table TennisThe Hotshots' season resumes.

 
Hotshots resumed their 3rd Division league matches on 18/1/10 after two weeks of postponements due to the bad weather. The travelled to Keighley Table Tennis Centre and overcame Haworth Eagles 7 games to 3. John Flitcroft and Bill Wright were undefeated in their singles games and combined to clinch the doubles. Bill had a noteworthy win over Lucas Adamski, the Haworth no. 1, winning a thrilling 5 setter, 6-11, 13-11,15-13,4-11,11-8. Sam Wright showed a vast improvement but just missed out in each of his games against 3 experienced opponents.
 
 
Hotshots 2nd rd fixture in the Naylor Handicap Competition against Lothersdale Nomads "B" has been postponed twice due to the bad weather, and is now scheduled for Weds. 27th January 2010 at the Keighley Centre. Lothersdale currently lie in the top half of the 1st Division and give Hellifield 215 pts start over the 9 singles games of two sets to 21 up: almost 12 pts a set. Hellifield will need to be on top of their form to progress.
